The P3O (Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices) methodology presents a way in which portfolio, programme and project offices can effectively support change management in an organization.
The P3O methodology presents several P3O models, examples of typical solutions, and tips on how to adapt the model to a particular organization. The methodology covers the area that presents benefits and costs of the P3O model, functions that the model can fulfil, and the roles that the model can incorporate. Each role has a particular set of responsibilities. A separate area of the methodology covers the topic of an approach to the implementation of the model or to the revitalization of existing solutions.

The training courses are conducted at different levels. They prepare participants for the P3O Foundation and P3O Practitioner qualification examinations.
The goal of the training course is to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and a meticulous understanding of the P3O (Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices) methodology. The training focuses on a detailed adaptation of P3O model to the organization’s situation and needs. A part of the training also includes information on the obligations of roles and functions in the different office models. The training course also covers the core principles related to the development, implementation and operation of the offices at the portfolio, programme and project levels.
The training is accredited by the APMG Group Ltd., which means that it prepares participants for the certification examination at the P3O Practitioner qualification level.

The participant will get to know the detailed rules of operation of office that support change implementation in an organization and how to support the implemented changes while maintaining a balance for business operations. Further:
P3O Practitioner examination is a multiple-choice test that consists of 7 areas of questions relating to a scenario situation. To pass the exam, a candidate is required to obtain at least 35 points (out of 70). The exam lasts 135 minutes. The examination can be taken only in the English language. During the exam, the candidate may only use the official P3O manual. The P3O Practitioner qualification certificate is issued by APMG for 5 years. Only holders of a P30 Foundation certificate may apply for the P3O Practitioner certificate.
