AgilePM™ (Agile Project Management) is an approach from the agile project management family. AgilePM is based on the DSDM approach (Dynamic Systems Development Method), with nearly 20 years of experience in agile project management. AgilePM means change, openness to change and suggesting change to obtain what the customer really needs (and what may differ from the original order) by better and more in-depth understanding of customer’s true needs and joint development of a value model. In project management approach typical of Agile PM, the project Sponsor, by delegating a dedicated person from the business, not only communicates with the development team on a daily basis, but also works with the team as its member. This approach streamlines the decision making process and promotes collaboration, joint resolution of project issues as well as precise specification of requirements (on the basis of functions, and not only product features) along the process of the project, preventing BDUF cases (Big Design Up Front).
Benefits and advantages of the AgilePM approach:
Participants learn the basics of AgilePM approach, the process structure and concepts. They study all roles, products and techniques used in the approach. Information delivered at the training course prepares the participants to the latest edition of AgilePM Foundation certificate exam.
