The Course Description

Course participants get to know the most important objectives of ITIL, including the structure of processes, operations concepts, and principles for the organization providing IT services based on best practices. The scope of knowledge acquired through the training will prepare participants for the examination in order to receive the newest version of the ITIL Foundation certificate.

The training takes 3 days and includes classes in the form of lectures and practical exercises. The language of instruction is Polish. The materials and exercises are in Polish. The training course is accredited by APM Group Ltd., and the terminology used is consistent with the glossary (dictionary of official translations of ITIL concepts and terms from English into Polish) approved by APMG. The training course prepares particpants for the ITIL Foundation examination in Polish language.

Editing consists of two consecutive weekends: 16-17.01.2016 and 23.01.2016.

  • anyone interested in learning and applying ITIL in practice,
  • anyone interested in obtaining ITIL Foundation certification.

Benefits from Training

After completion of the training the participant will:

  • gain knowledge of the processes, relationships, benefits, and challenges of the ITIL methodology;
  • wnow the service lifecycle that the operation of ITIL is based upon;
  • understand the process model that causes the transformation of the IT organization into an effectively managed unit;
  • know the basic definitions and standard vocabulary of ITIL;
  • be prepared for the certified ITIL Foundation examination.


The ITIL Foundation examination lasts 60 minutes and consists of 40 questions. For each question there are 4 responses, only one of which is correct. For every correct answer a candidate receives 1 point. Thus, the candidate can score a maximum of 40 points. To pass the examination the candidate must correctly answer at least to 26 questions (65%). There are no negative points for wrong answers, and the test result is not presented on the certificate.

The examination may be conducted in writing or may be carried out in the form of an online test completed on a computer. In accordance with the rules, candidates during the exam may not use any auxiliary materials, any means of communications, and she/he may not consult with other candidates regarding her/his answer(s).

Note: The ITIL Foundation certificate is a document of considerable value. The certificate is recognized around the world and confirms the quality of the competence of the certified person. In addition, the ITIL Foundation certificate is required for those who wish to broaden their knowledge of the methodology through the Intermediate level training course, and then pass the ITIL Intermediate examination.
