ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a set of best practices for IT service management. It is a structured and proven approach to IT service management that is widely used by many companies, organizations, and institutions around the world. Basic knowledge of the process management model proposed by ITIL plays an important role in improving the quality of operations provided by an IT service department. The use of modern standards and management methodologies (including ITIL) is evidence of the professional business culture of an enterprise or organization. ITIL is a set of comprehensive recommendations from the software industry that comprise the International Service Management Standard for IT – ISO/IEC 20000 Service Management.

The training course prepares candidates for the ITIL Foundation examination.
Course participants get to know the most important objectives of ITIL, including the structure of processes, operations concepts, and principles for the organization providing IT services based on best practices. The scope of knowledge acquired through the training will prepare participants for the examination in order to receive the newest version of the ITIL Foundation certificate.
The training takes 3 days and includes classes in the form of lectures and practical exercises. The language of instruction is Polish. The materials and exercises are in Polish. The training course is accredited by AXELOS., and the terminology used is consistent with the glossary (dictionary of official translations of ITIL concepts and terms from English into Polish) approved by AXELOS. The training course prepares particpants for the ITIL Foundation examination in Polish language.

ITIL Foundation exam lasts 60 minutes and consists of 40 questions. To each question are given four answers of which only one is correct. For each correct answer gets 1 point. A maximum of 40 points can be achieved. To pass the exam you must answer correctly at least26 questions (65 %). There are no negative points for incorrect answers and the result ofthe examination is not presented on the certificate.
Having ITIL Foundation certificate means obtaining a document of significant value. The certificate is recognized around the world and confirmed the value of competence of the person who wins such a certificate.
